Happy Women's Equality Day!

"The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.

Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation."

-19th Amendment to the United States Constitution,  passed by Congress on June 4, 1919, ratified on August 18, 1920 and certified on August 26, 1920.

Thanks to women like Lucretia and Susan and Alice and Elizabeth, we have the vote.  Go out there and make that vote count so we can have true equality, Mamas!
